Lynette Jackson

Director of Postcards

Lynette has resided in Santa Clarita since 2016, previously living in various locations throughout the U.S. and abroad due to being a military spouse. Her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Social Work led her to a career working with maximum security inmates in Cleveland, at-risk juvenile offenders in Phoenix, and various other populations including persons experiencing homelessness, and domestic abuse survivors. Her volunteer efforts with CASA in Lancaster has afforded her the opportunity to work in the court system advocating for underprivileged foster children.

Lynette has been an active supporter of Women’s Rights, Gun Violence Prevention, BLM, Educational Equity, LGBTQ, Environmental Causes, and Animal Rights. She strongly believes that it is every parent’s responsibility to encourage their children to be active within their community and fight for positive change for all marginalized people.

Now that her husband has retired from the military after 27 years, Lynette has decided to focus her energy on making positive change right here in the Santa Clarita Valley, and she is extremely proud to hold a position within the SCV Democrats.
